At St. Catherine Labouré Preschool, we accept children who are 3 years of age by August 15th of the current school year. Children who meet the age requirements will be accepted if space is available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

It is highly recommended that the parents and child visit our school prior to applying in order to prepare the child for the preschool experience. Small group tours for our Preschool campus are given weekly on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 12:30pm. During the visit, the parents will be informed of the preschool's program and policies. Admission Policy
Admission to St. Catherine Labouré Preschool is evaluated on an annual basis. All parents wishing to enroll a child for the upcoming, academic year must submit an online Preschool Application Inquiry here and meet the criteria as set out in this policy. Admission to the school shall be with the understanding that parents have familiarized themselves with, will support the philosophy of, and agree to comply with the policies of St. Catherine Labouré Preschool as stated in the Parent Handbook.
Enrollment
St. Catherine Labouré Preschool is currently open to children who are 3 years of age by August 15th and potty-trained. Registration priority is not accepted until an application and nonrefundable registration fee are submitted and processed in the preschool office. Registration fees are nonrefundable unless the child is not being granted enrollment due to waiting list or other school-determined reasons. All enrollments are subject to space available and the approval of the Preschool Director.

Waitlist
In order to maintain optimal class size, a waiting list for admission will be maintained. In such cases, the list will be generated based on admission criteria stated in this Admission Policy, with consideration given to the date the application for admission was received.
Preschool Non Discrimination Policy
It is the mission of St. Catherine Labouré Preschool to provide an exemplary, Christ-centered education to all of its students. We admit students of any race, color, and national or ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, and national and/or ethnic origin in the administration of its educational policies, admission policies, and other school-administered programs. Children of all faiths are welcome.
However, there may be certain circumstances related to special physical or learning needs where St. Catherine Labouré Preschool cannot provide an adequate educational program for a student. Upon discretion of the program director, it may be determined that the needs of a child may be beyond the program’s service delivery capacity. Therefore, admission or re-registration may be denied after consultation with the parents. In such situations the parents will be given a two week notice that the child will be withdrawn. The parent may choose to have their child leave before the end of that period. Tuition will be charged through the child’s last day of attendance.
Notice of Withdrawal
A one month notice is required for any family planning to withdraw a child. Tuition will be charged during that period.
Students must be:

- Physically sound
- Emotionally able

- Children from registered families, in good standing, of St. Catherine Labouré Parish.
- Siblings of children currently enrolled in St. Catherine Labouré Preschool.
- As room is available, children from the community who will support the Preschool’s philosophy, goals, and policies.
- Children will be placed in one of the Preschool rooms at the teacher’s discretion.
