The core academic curriculum consists of religion, language arts, math, science, social studies, and Spanish. The learning objectives in each of these subject areas adhere to Archdiocesan and California State Standards and build from one year to the next to ensure that each student is prepared for a college preparatory high school curriculum.

- In addition to these core subjects, the Saint Catherine curriculum includes Technology, Art, Music, Physical Education and intensive out-of-school projects.
- Saint Catherine’s is adding two important components to its already outstanding education program:
- An iPad program is being implemented for students in fifth through eighth grades. Among other benefits, this will stimulate student learning and allow for effective differentiation in instruction. This will supplement student activities in the Technology Learning Center. Visit iPad Program Benefits.
- The Spanish language is being introduced into the curriculum at all grade levels.
- Saint Catherine’s students participate in many social awareness programs such as: Holy Childhood, Heifer International, House of Yahweh, and the St. Vincent DePaul Society outreach programs. We reach out to the victims of natural disasters like aid to Haiti. Every Easter and Christmas our student prepare cards for the elderly homebound and patients in local medical facilities.
