If you are wondering why our parish school was voted “Best Private School in the South Bay,” you may wish to take the opportunity to visit our school, talk with our wonderful teaching staff, and/or observe our classrooms while the learning process is under way. Such a visit will help you decide if Saint Catherine Labouré is the school for your child.
We welcome visits to all classrooms any time of the year, by appointment only. However, in January, we hold an Open House Event for all prospective families to visit classrooms, meet our teachers, talk with students and currently enrolled parents. During that time, prospective parents attend an informational meeting where we provide admission packets for the next school year. For specific dates, please visit Admission Timeline
During the month of January and February, we also hold "Observation Fridays" for families specifically interested in Kindergarten and Transitional Kindergarten. It is a wonderful opportunity for prospective parents to visit our classrooms while in session. These observations are held from 8:30am to 9:30am, except for the First Friday of the month when all school students attend Mass. For specific dates, visit Admission Timeline
or contact the school office.
Families who have missed the Application Day deadline but are still interested in attending SCL should contact the school office to determine availability. If additional spots are available, prospective families are welcome to attend the End-of-Year Showcase the last week of May. This event, geared for current families, includes performances by students enrolled in Arts Alive, student art exhibits from Adventures in Art, and classroom visits.
To make a reservation for Open House, Observation Fridays or for a
private tour, please contact the school office (310) 324-8732.
